POSITION TITLE: Estimator
POSITION DUTIES: Collect and analyze data to evaluate the time and money required for materials and labor to perform cabinet manufacturing, design, customization, and installation for residential clients. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or manufacturing foremen to discuss and formulate estimates/budgets and resolve issues. Make the necessary project adjustments based on the analysis of actual costs. Monitor the cabinet project to ensure that costs are in line with forecasts. Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors. Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. Participate in negotiations with suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS: High School + 2 yrs exp. in the job offered. Alternatively, will accept HS +2 yrs of exp. as a Cost Consultant, Project Consultant, Manager, or any position with duties related to budgeting & financial analysis.
HOURS: 40 hours/week
